Scope and Content

This small collection of records of the Eragny Press in London was purchased from Henry Bristow Ltd, March 19, 1973. Covering the years 1920-1923, it consists mainly of Esther L. Pissarro's correspondence concerning the sale of woodblocks by George Du Maurier and others and of prints made by her from the blocks. Included are letters from museums in England and in America, as well as receipts for paper, etc.
The papers have been arranged chronologically. A partial alphabetical listing of correspondents follows.
