Description
Consists of 195 individual project files, containing over 900 drawings created from the 1930s through 1976, which were collected during 1982, the centennial year of the San Francisco Chapter of the American Institute of Architects. This collection of architects' drawings was established to further develop the events planned for the celebration year, as well as to demonstrate the artistic talents in the Bay Area and give historical perspective on local development. Primarily design drawings rather than construction documents created by the following individuals and firms: Anshen & Allen; Edward Charles Basset; Bliss & Faville; Henrik Bull; Field Bull, Volkmann & Stockwell; John Field; Aaron Green; Harwell H. Harris; Hart, Krivatsky & Stubee; Henry Hill; Hill & Kruse; Knorr, Elliott and Associates; John Kruse; Lane, Knorr, Elliott; Alton Lee; Mendelsohn, Dinwiddie & Hill; Donald Olsen; Skidmore, Owings & Merrill; Douglas Dacre Stone; Stone, Marraccini & Patterson; John Carl Warnecke & Associates.

Copyright for material created by Henrik Bull, Henry Hill, Hill & Kruse, John Kruse, and Donald Olsen is held by the Environmental Design Archives.
