A Receipt book, MSS 0085. Mandeville Special Collections Library, UCSD.
Holograph manuscript bound in vellum containing recipes for cooking and household
remedies. The writing is in at least three different hands. The paper carries a 1797
watermark, and two of the last entries are records for fruit preserves, one dated 1808
and the other dated 1813.
