Includes information on border and port inspections, brucellosis, and other major diseases. Contains monthly reports for the Division, 1952-1954, monthly reports for the Bureau, 1956-1957, and Division annual reports, 1955 and 1959.

Correspondence and administrative hearings relating to Bureau activities. Hearings are concerned with Bureau control and procedures regarding tuberculosis, vesicular exanthema, and swine diseases. Also included is World War II service flag honoring Bureau personnel.

Contains wide range of material relating to Bureau activities, including information about brucellosis, foot and mouth disease effort in Mexico, Newcastle disease, Hearst feral swine project, scrapie, tuberculosis, vesicular exanthema, and the veterinary diagnostic laboratory study. Files contain correspondence, memoranda, reports, special studies, publications, regulations, publicity materials, photographs, and sound recordings of hearings on brucellosis control program in 1959.
