The collection consists of minutes of meetings of the California State Soil Conservation Commission, formerly called State Soil Conservation Committee. Also included are meeting notices, agendas, reports of the secretary (on individual districts), laws and legislation, etc., from December 13, 1938 (first meeting) to January 1961.
