Box 1., Folder 1.

Scrapbook containing seven pages of handwritten narrative, five pages typewritten transcription and partial list of scrapbook contents, and many pieces of correspondence, clippings, pamphlets, documents, certificates and other ephemera tipped in. This volume, stamped "S.H.H." in gold on the front cover, was apparently compiled by Obed Harvey's widow, Susan Mitchell Hall Harvey.

Notes and correspondence (Frances Gardner, William J. Kerr, Genevieve Harvey, Herbert Hoover, Herbert C. Moffitt) 1947, 1950, 1951, 1955 re: acquisition of scrapbook. Folder also contains Bohn's Hand-book of Washington, 1858. Cover engraved: "American Medical Association Washington 1858" (probably separated from scrapbook).
