Scope and Content

The Lilly Hertz collection includes a great number of poems in her hand, programs and reviews of recitals, correspondence for the period 1934-1940, private correspondence between Lilly and Alfred Hertz, newspaper clippings related to her social career, and other material.

The memorabilia of Lilly Hertz has been only partially organized and arranged, and there is much to do to bring the collection under full bibliographical control. Generally speaking, the Lilly Hertz Collection contains materials pertaining to the following facets of her life.
