Copy of a report, Feb. 28, 1797, to the governor of California concerning the Indians of the Colorado River area. Based on his travels with Frs. Juan Diaz and Francisco Garces in 1779, to establish the ill-fated missions of La Purísima Concepción and San Pedro y San Pablo. Certified as a true copy of the one at the Presidio, Loreto, by José Joaquín de Arrillaga. Oct. 6, 1797. From the Cowan Collection.
