Description
Papers include correspondence, and subject files: typescripts and manuscripts (for
published and unpublished articles), photographs and negatives of Greek manuscripts; a
variety of information on the International Congress of the History of Medicine, and
medical notes from the University of Tennessee.
Background
Dr. Codellas received his medical degree in 1922 from the University of Minnesota School
of Medicine, and did an internship at the University of Tennessee, Memphis. He came to
California where he was licensed in 1923.
