Biography

Buck McKee was a boyhood friend of Will Rogers and became his partner in a touring group. McKee's specialty was performing with his riding horse, Teddy. Maud Holmes married Buck McKee in 1908. She was a vaudeville chorus girl who performed under the name of Maud Florence. Around 1924 Buck and Maud moved to Roseville where they ran a riding school.
