Note in the back reads: "The Ideal Book or Book Beautiful was printed as a project by some members of the Senior Graphic Arts Class at Los Angeles State College. Professor Richard J. Hoffman suggested the text and also contributed most generously of his time and knowledge. Participating members of the class were: Terry Cowgill, Robert. L. Kish, Richard B. Odemar, Donald Roland, Fred L. Williams. This edition was limited to one hundred numbered copies, of which this is number 80."
