Description
Cathie Wright, Republican, was a California State Assembly Member, 1980-1991 and a California State Senator, 1992-2000. She represented cities within Los Angeles and Ventura Counties in the 37th Assembly District and 19th Senate District. The Cathie Wright Papers consist of 26 cubic feet of records reflecting Wright's activities during her time as both an Assembly Member and a Senator. The records document Wright's legislative work and contain Assembly and Senate bill files, 1981-2000; chronological correspondence files, 1981-1998; subject files, 1981-1998; and committee files, 1985-1986.
