Biographical/Historical note

Mary Curry, daughter of David Curry, founder of Camp Curry at Yosemite, was married to Donald B. Tresidder, president of the Yosemite Park and Curry Company and later president of Stanford University (1943-1948).

Scope and Contents note

Diary was kept from January 21 to April 23, 1936, during the trip that Mary Curry and Donald B. Tresidder made to the 1936 Winter Olympic Games in Garmish-Partenkirchen, Germany. The diary continues with their travels to Vienna, Paris, London, and the English countryside.
