The collection consists of by laws, and records of local history forums held in Lemon Grove in 1978.

Founded in 1978, the Lemon Grove Historical Society, with the support of the Lemon Grove Chamber of Commerce and the Soroptomists, sponsored a series of forums on Lemon Grove history. Speakers included representatives from the Lemon Grove community and San Diego area business, public, and educational organizations.
