Biographical History

William Hugh Regan most commonly known as Bill Regan graduated from San Jose State College in 1940 with an A.B in Journalism. He graduated with honorary distinction and departmental honors in the field of Journalism. He was involved in Tau Delta Phi, a men's honorary society, and Nu Iota Chi, a Journalism society. He worked for the Spartan Daily as a copy editor.

Scope and Contents

This series consists of San Jose State College photographs taken by Bill Regan. The photographs document school events, campus scenes, sports and student life from 1937-1953. This series also includes photographs of notable collegiate sports figures, Pop Warner and Amos Alonzo Stagg.
