Biographical/Historical Sketch
Eliot Blackwelder was a professor of geology at Stanford University from 1922-1945. He received his A.B. (1901) and his Ph.D.
(1914) from the University of Chicago.
Description of the Collection
Papers consist of his typescript report and map on ancient petroglyphs in southern Nevada (Grapevine Canyon), 1925; a letter
