Scope and Content of Collection
The collection consists of programs, statistics, press releases, scrapbooks, brochures, photographs, slides, and pamphlets
pertaining to football, basketball, wrestling, golf, and other sports at Stanford University, including two scrapbooks on
women's sports at Stanford, 1964-1975. Also included are video tapes of football games, 1970-92; women's basketball games,
1987-99; men's basketball games, 1984-92; miscellaneous tapes of volleyball, swimming, gymnastics, and baseball; interviews
with coaches Jack Elway, Dick Gould, Tara VanDerveer, and Mike Montgomery; and campus promotional spots aired during televised
games.
