Other subjects include an airplane trip from San Francisco to El Paso, Texas, in 1928, and setting up a "hard-times colony" on his land in 1932. Other items in the papers include a letter to Eva Apperson and several bulletins on food preparation from the agriculture extension, 1943-1945; and two photographs [copy prints] of the Stanford Ranch office and the Copeland House on the Stanford ranch.
