Correspondence, notes, and clippings, relating to the career of the American economist Lauchlin Currie, and particularly to his role in the dispatch of the Flying Tigers to China in 1941. Used during preparation of the book by R. J. Sandilands, The Life and Political Economy of Lauchlin Currie: New Dealer, Presidential Adviser, and Development Economist (Durham, N.C., 1990). Includes correspondence with Lauchlin Currie, John K. Fairbank, and Madame Chiang Kai-shek. Photocopy.
