Original manuscript of Edward MacDowell's Sonata Tragica. The manuscript was sent by Mrs. MacDowell to Bruno David Ussher. The score is accompanied by the original mailing label. The score is titled "Sonata Tragica Op. 44 No. 3/ The greatest of all woes is to remind us of our happy days in misery. Francesa da Rimini episode Dante, Inferno".
