1906; a reference letter for Jean Montgomery Duncan, 1902; baby book for Duncan Knowles (son of William and Jean Duncan Knowles),
1906; scrapbook kept by a Duncan relative largely containing clippings of poems with some items re family members, 1874-1906;
and photographs, largely unidentified.

Biographical/Historical Sketch
William Andrew Knowles, Jr., attended Stanford University from 1892 to 1895 and was on the track team. He went on to have
a career as an architect in the Bay Area. He married Jean Montgomery Duncan in 1905.
