The Daniel Edward Griffiths papers contain materials relating to the theory and practice of education in the United States
over a period of four decades. Griffiths served for many years as Dean of the School of Education at New York University.
He was a prolific writer on the subject of school administration and gave numerous speeches and lectures to administrators
and teachers at many institutions in the United States and abroad.
