Biographical/Historical Sketch
Biochemistry professor at Stanford University (Chairman of the Department of Biochemistry from 1959 to 1969), Kornberg received
a Nobel Prize in medicine and physiology in 1959 for pioneering the synthesis of DNA in the laboratory.
This interview was conducted by Robert Lehman for the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society; collection includes the source
tapes (on Beta and VHS) and the edited master tape.
