    Biography

    Diemer was born in 1888; became general manager and chief engineer of the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California; he died in 1966.

    Collection contains a manuscript history of the North Platte River project (ca. 1912-25) and copies of papers, articles, and statements made by Robert B. Diemer while general manager and chief engineer of the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California. Also includes memorabilia, photographs, and various publications related to water resources development.
