Description
This collection pertains to the 2008 Stanford China Music Tour, also known as “A Musical Journey to the Olympics,” and includes photographs, itineraries, programs, promotional materials, the photobook "Finding Harmony," and the DVD "Ode to Joy for the Beijing Olympics: A Concert at the Great Hall of the People, Jindong Cai: Conductor. July 2, 2008.”
Background
The 2008 Stanford China Music Tour consists of members of the Stanford Symphony Orchestra, Chamber Chorale, Taiko, and Choral Union (comprised of singers from the Stanford Symphonic Chorus, University Singers, Early Music Singers, and Memorial Church Choir).
