and books related to Kabuki theater in Japan gathered by Shaver.

Biography
Shaver lived in Japan and studied Kabuki for many years; Kabuki is a form of traditional Japanese dramas incorporating music
and dance which is highly stylized with elaborate costumes and scenic effects; Shaver published a books on Kabuki titled,
Kabuki costume (1966).
