These materials were assembled from the collections of the San Jose Public Library's California Room and digitized as part
of a one-year statewide project (Local History Digital Resources Project) from July 2005 through June 2006. The project funded
training in digital project management and the scanning of 200 items to form a core collection of digital objects. Project
work was supported by the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology
Act, administered in California by the State Librarian. The scanning was performed by Northern Micrographics of La Crosse
Wisconsin.
