Biographical/Historical Sketch
Financial vice-president at Stanford University (1940-1945); trustee (1939-1940). Prior to
his affiliation with Stanford, he was a successful financier and stockbroker in New York,
working with Blyth, Witter and Company and Eastman, Dillon and Company.
