Biography
Lucky Pup, produced by Lloyd Gross and Clarence Schimmel, was one of the first all-puppet television shows. The shows original premise
focused on the adventures of Lucky Pup, a little dog who comes into a large sum of money, and the two sinister characters,
an evil magician named Foodini and his henchman Pinhead who continually plot to trick the dog out of the money. The show aired
on CBS (1949) and NBC (1950) and included Doris Brown as host. The puppet characters and voices were provided by Hope and
Morey Bunin.
Scope and Content
Collection consists of script material for the Lucky Pup television program. Appears to include episode numbers 3-549. The
bulk of the scripts are dated with month and day, but but no year.
