The University Of California, Santa Cruz Contemporary Classical Collection consists of live performances of classical music, mostly by twentieth century composers, on open reel tape. For the most part, recordings date from the 1960s and 70s, and include rehearsals, radio broadcasts and interviews with composers and performers.
