Scope and Content Note

This series includes all of William Kramer's personal papers unassociated with his research and work with the WSJHA. Subseries include his written work (both published work and drafts as well as his autobiography and dissertation), his sermons and speeches (including those delivered and drafts), materials related to his various careers as a teacher, educator, historian, lawyer, actor and Rabbi, materials related to his family and friends (including photos and ephemera), and other miscellaneous materials and ephemera collected during his life. Kramer's work with Stern and their correspondence appears in the Norton B. Stern series. Kramer's writings in and work as editor of the WSJH Quarterly appears in the Western States Jewish History Association series.
