use of it in making keyboard synthesizers; Prof. Julius Smith on wave guide synthesis for music synthesizers; Prof. Calvin
Quate on the atomic force microscope; Drs. Alan Krensky and Carol Clayberger on their work to develop drugs to increase transplant
tolerance; and Katherine Ku, director of the Office of Technology Licensing, on the process of patenting and developing products.
