Mesa Court was the first residence hall community at UCI, opening with the campus in 1965. Since then, the community has grown
with the campus and is the largest student community on campus, housing over 1,800 undergraduates in 29 residence halls.
Mesa Court houses mainly first-year students. Many of the halls have special interest themes and academic courses that are
associated with them.
