Biographical/Historical Sketch
Stanford entered into a research project with the National Iranian Radio and Television
agency in 1974 to study and recommend a satellite-based communication system for Iran
and how to utilize it for Iran's educational radio and television.
Records include memoranda, reports, and correspondence, largely of Bruce Lusignan,
project director, 1974-77; and the report "A Developmental Plan for Educational Radio
and Television of Iran," June 1978, by Stuart Cooney, Lyle M. Nelson, and D. Glenn
Starlin of the Dept. of Communications.
