Description
This collection consists of the business records of the Sunset Club of Los Angeles, California, a men's social organization, from its inception in 1895, and currently updated through 2010.
Background
The Sunset Club was started in Los Angeles, California, in 1895 by Charles Dwight Willard (1866-1914), along with Charles Fletcher Lummis, W.C. Patterson, Bert Estes, and Fred L. Alles. It was modeled on the Sunset Club of Chicago as a men's social organization.
