Biographical Note
Brigadier general, United States Air Force; commander, Lake Charles Air Force Base, Louisiana, 1941-1943, Aloe Air Force Base,
Texas, 1943-1945, and Bolling Air Force Base, District of Columbia, 1952-1956; chief, United States Military Assistance Advisory
Group in Denmark, 1956-1960.
Father of two children and two grandchildren. Hometown of Jacksonville, FL and born on April 13, in 1906, died December 24,
1973. Cause of death was a stroke compounded with other illnesses at the age of 67.
