Events include: World's Columbian Exposition (Chicago, 1893), Midwinter International Exposition (San Francisco, 1894), Trans-Mississippi and International Exposition (Omaha, 1898), Pan-American Exposition (Buffalo, 1901), Louisiana Purchase Exposition (St. Louis, 1904), Lewis and Clark Centennial Exposition (Portland, Oregon, 1905), Jamestown Exposition (Norfolk, 1907), Panama-Pacific International Exposition (San Francisco, 1915), and Golden Gate International Exposition (San Francisco, 1939).
