Background
Round Valley [Covelo] Garden Project was started in the early 1970's in Covelo, California, by Alan Chadwick, who had in the previous decade successfully introduced his Rudolf Steiner-influenced French Intensive and Biodynamic systems of food and flower production to the Americas on the University of California Santa Cruz campus.
