Scope and Content of Collection
The collection contains a diary, documents, 7 carte de visite photographs, and leather document case of Alfred E. Barber,
a Civil War Union lieutenant, New York Infantry, 141st Regiment (Vol), Company G, ca. 1863-1864. Barber was the great uncle
of the donor of the collection, Mrs. Dean W. Meeker.
