Biography

Remondino was a prominent doctor and president of the San Diego (California) Board of Health; many of his articles appeared in the National popular review and the Physiological and medico-legal journal; his published books include: The climate of Southern California in its relation to renal diseases (1889), History of circumcision, from its earliest times to the present (1891), and The modern climatic treatment of invalids with pulmonary consumption in Southern California (1893).

Collection contains holograph and typed manuscripts of articles by Peter Charles Remondino. Also includes 2 portraits and one oversize picture of Remondino.
