Letter from M.W. Stirling, Director of the Smithsonian Institution Bureau of American Ethnology, to Dr. F.W. Hodge, Director of the Southwest Museum, regarding a letter concerning Stephen Bowers' publications. Also included is a catalog card which contains the only publications of Bowers listed in the Smithsonian Library. August 20.
