This collection comprises the monthly meeting minutes of the Moulton Niguel Water District Board of Directors in Southern
Orange County, California from 1974-1980. The collection also includes one resolution adopting water conservation rules and
regulations.
Background
The Moulton Niguel Water District was formed in November 1960 by landowners in the former Rancho Niguel and Rancho Mission
Viejo in Southern California. It now serves the communities of Aliso Viejo, Laguna Niguel, Laguna Hills, Mission Viejo, and
Dana Point. It is governed by a board of directors composed of locally elected citizens and customers.
