Robert J. Weaver is showing R.B. Bahme of Berkeley the effect of a medium strength dose of 20 parts gibberellin to a million parts water. The compound may eventually replace girdling as a method of enlarging grape size. Weaver's experiments showed that 50 ppm. of gibberellin produced even larger grapes, while 100 or 1000 ppm. produced long, giant-size grapes 1957 August 28
