1913 Became a military officer in the Russian Imperial army
1917 Dismissed after regiment reorganization
1918 Joined the Volunteer Army; appointed 1st squadron of 4th division commander
1920 Appointed 4th division commander
February 1920 Injured in battle and evacuated to Serbia
1921-1972 Lived in Yugoslavia, Belgium, and Canada; served in the military in the Belgian Congo
June 1972 Died in Toronto, Canada

Scope and Content of Collection

The bulk of the material relates to Odintsov's military career in the Russian Imperial Army. The collection includes his military records, memoirs, correspondence, photographs, and research papers related to the Leib-gvardii kirasirskii eia velichestva polk (Her Majesty's Cuirassier Guards Regiment), as well as collected materials related to the Russian Revolution, Civil War, and the Romanov family.
