Description
The collection documents local business, commerce, communities, cultural affairs, recreation, social service agencies, tourism, transportation, urban planning, and development. It consists of correspondence, Board of Directors meeting minutes, reports, by-laws, and miscellany.
Background
Founded in 1957, the Chamber is committed to fostering the growth of Imperial Beach as a business and professional community. Committees have been established which actively deal with Metropolitan Area Advisory Committee (MAAC) projects, traffic safety, business and industry, Easter Sunrise Services, and the Senior Citizens Fishing Derby.
