Biography

Ron Lopez has had a long career as an educator in Southern California. He has held teaching posts at UCLA, Occidental College, Pasadena City College, and Claremont College in Claremont California. Ron Lopez has served the community as a drug counselor as well as a tax referee. He has also been a consultant in advertising as well as being in the food business.

Scope and Content

This collection consists of Lopez's research materials on health, education, and various other issues of social importance in the lives of Chicanos and Latinos in the United States. There are also many examples of his own writings, from his time as a graduate student and throughout his career. Please note that accents have been omitted to facilitate the use of all web browsers.
