Description
This collection includes minutes of the Executive Committee, 1923-1950, and minutes of the initial meeting of the Pacific
Coast Committee, August 31, 1946. These minutes were originally received in the Stanford University president's office.
Background
Founded in 1918, the American Council on Education (ACE) is the nation's unifying voice for higher education. ACE serves as
a consensus leader on key higher education issues and seeks to influence public policy through advocacy, research, and program
initiatives.
