Description
This study was requested by Stan Pfeiffer, owner of the land which includes the quarry site, prior to residential development. It includes an archival study of archeological resources in the area of the quarry, a surface survey of the land, and recommendations.
Background
The Greystone Quarry, formerly known as the Goodrich Quarry, was the source of the stone used to build Stanford University.
