    Historical Note

    The Patron's Club (also known as the Patron's Association), consisted of outside supporters of San Diego State College and the interested parents of students enrolled at the school. The purpose of the organization was to aid the college faculty in promoting the welfare of the student body, to give an enlightened and sympathetic interpretation of the college to the community, and to render whatever assistance was helpful to the college.
