Abstract: Frank Herman Reinsch (1885- ) was a professor of German and served as president of the Philological Association of the Pacific
Coast (1946-47). His publications include
Goethe's political interests prior to 1787 (1923) and
The correspondence of Johann Caspar Goethe (editor, 1946). The collection consists of correspondence files, manuscripts of articles on Goethe by Professor Reinsch,
student papers from his German classes, class records, personal memorabilia, pamphlets, periodicals, microform, photostats,
and a tape recording on 2 reels of a radio broadcast of a foreign languages panel.
Physical location: Stored off-site at SRLF. Advance notice is required for access to the collection. Please contact the UCLA Library, Department
